October News + Happy Halloween !

Something strange has been happening in my studio....my ball turned into a pumpkin....!?

I hope you have all enjoyed your classes this last half term. It was a super busy month for me - as some of you know I ran my first ever marathon in Bournemouth on 6th October and the preparation for that was huge. But gladly it all went well and my attention can now re-focus on other things! October also saw: 1) World Menopause Day on 18th October - Promoting ways for Women to manage this phase of life.  Your weekly classes always incorporate exercises suitable for this time of life - the key message is to keep moving and stay mobile through this phase and beyond! 2) World Osteoporosis Day on 20th October - Promoting the importance of prevention of Bone Health disease - if you didn't hear my key facts for the UK in my classes last week then here they are again: - 1 in every 2 fractures in women over 50 years are due to Osteoporosis and - 1 in every 5 fractures in men over 50 years are due to this disease too The key message again is to exercise to stay strong - we do many exercises suitable for bone strengthening in my classes.
