Have you ever tried Pilates using equipment such as the Reformer?
From her brand new studio (daytime only) Sara offers 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 sessions using the Reformer and the Cadillac. She is fully qualified through Pilates Solutions and would be very happy to introduce the equipment to you - especially good if you are recovering from an injury or an operation or if you just fancy trying something a bit different.
What is the Reformer?
This piece of equipment is like a bed with a wooden or metal frame that uses springs, pulleys, bars & straps to perform over 500 exercises in a variety of positions. Originally developed to offer movement and rehab to the injured, today the reformer offers a more challenging version of matwork exercises. The origins of the pilates reformer date back to the original Pilates studio in New York in the 1920's and was designed by Joseph Pilates himself.
What is a Cadillac?
Using the tower for many different exercises to work the body either in seated, standing or lying positions allowing you to work muscle groups in isolation and generally have a fantastic workout in a very different way.
