Buff Bones ®

Buff Bones® is a medically-endorsed, full body workout for bone strengthening and balance. It integrates Pilates, strength training, functional movement and rehabilitative exercise to improve the health and longevity of your bones and joints. It’s adaptable to varying levels and is safe for those with osteoporosis.

If you have been diagnosed with osteoporosis or have low bone density then read on as this will be relevant to you!

The programme has been created and proven by Rebekah Rotstein, a ballerina who was diagnosed with osteoporosis in her late 20's. She developed Buff Bones based on bone health principles and her own experiences and now trains teachers around the world.

Classes will run on demand and mainly run at The Studio in Beacon Hill.

A session will consist of a standing warm up followed by lying and kneeling floor exercises and finally a stand up balance and weights section. Movements will be based on impact, strength and muscle power - all to aid building of bones. Particular focus on the weaker areas of the body - hip, wrist and spine.
